- Kate Stephenson
- President
- Kate is a full-time MBA candidate at UCLA Anderson focusing on strategy and product development. Kate began her career working in research and development at Invitrogen, working on development teams in molecular biology and genomics. She followed this with three years at Fair Isaac Corp. in marketing and strategy consulting for major pharmaceutical companies, where projects included oncology market assesments and strategic portfolio development for start-up companies. She will be interning with Abbott Vascular during the summer, modeling carotid product launches. Kate grew up in Oregon and received BAs in history and political science from Northwestern University.
- Sabina Mehra
- VP of Finance
- Sabina is pursuing a career in strategy at UCLA Anderson. She is currently the VP Finance for HBA and also served as the first-year director of finance. She has also served as both the first-year director and currently as the VP Internal for SOMA. Sabina is an ASA social chair and served as marketing director for the Entrepreneur Association Internship Fair. Before UCLA Anderson, Sabina spent three years in financial services at Bank of America, where she focused on sales, relationship management, and team management. She served as resident small business expert and managed consumer and business client portfolios before moving to team and operations management. Sabina holds her B.A from UCLA College Honors Program with a major in psychology and minors in Spanish and public policy.
- Yuedi Fleming
- VP of Career Development
- Yuedi is a full-time MBA student at UCLA Anderson focusing on strategy and operations. Prior to Anderson, Yuedi worked as a research scientist at Celgene in San Diego, dedicating her efforts toward discovering and developing innovative drugs to treat cancer and inflammatory diseases. Yuedi worked in and led cross functional teams, and was particularly proud of her involvement with the projects where the drug products went from clinical trials, through FDA approval, to final launch. Yuedi will spend this summer at Amgen as an Operations MBA intern in Risk Management group. Yuedi holds a B.S. in Microbiology from Nankai University, and a M.S. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Medical College of Wisconsin.

- David Esterly is a full-time MBA student at UCLA Anderson studying Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Prior to Anderson, David worked for Pfizer in Pharmaceutical Sales where he launched several new products and had the opportunity to work with international thought leaders of medical and scientific communities. Prior to Pfizer, David worked in Health Service Management for Maxim Healthcare Services and specialized in Home Healthcare. This summer David will be working at Amgen as an MBA Marketing Intern in the Bone Health Division. David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
- Leaat Dulberg

- Leaat is a full-time dual-degree MBA and MPH student at UCLA focusing on strategy and finance. Prior to Anderson, Leaat worked as an associate at JPMorgan Chase in Internal Consulting within the Investment Bank and Private Bank. Leaat did an internship last summer at Cedars-Sinai in Business Development and Strategic Planning developing business plans for the various Surgical Units of the hospital. This summer Leaat will be working as a Commercial Leadership Program Intern at Amgen in the Segment Marketing Department on Aranesp. She received her undergraduate degree in Business from The University of Michigan.
- Julianne Cuellar

- Julianne is a full-time student at UCLA Anderson focusing on Marketing. In 2005, she graduated from Stanford University with dual degrees in Public Policy (healthcare concentration) and Communication. Prior to attending UCLA Anderson, Julianne was a market research supervisor at J.D. Power and Associates where her area of expertise was automotive Internet marketing. She designed and launched market intelligence surveys and used analytics to create specific solutions for automakers' online marketing challenges. This summer, Julianne will be working on refining a recently launched client Web portal for McKesson Corporation, a healthcare services company.
- Crystal Williams

- Crystal Williams is a Fully Employed MBA at UCLA Anderson focusing on strategy, operations, and marketing. She is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force as a Medical Service Corp Officer, widely known in the civilian sector as a Hospital Administrator. As the Medical Logistics/Readiness Flight Commander for the Los Angeles Air Force Base Medical Clinic in El Segundo, CA, she leads medical supply chain management, contract management, Environment of Care, medical equipment, and disaster preparedness, directly supporting eight Medical Doctors, two Physicians Assistants, and two Nurse Practitioners. Crystal holds a B.S. in Business Management from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
- Elaine Horibe
- VP of Membership and Education
- Elaine is a full-time MBA student at UCLA Anderson focusing on strategy and operations. Prior to Anderson, she worked as a medical coordinator at Albert Einstein Jewish Hospital, the first hospital outside the United States to be accredited by the Joint Commission. At Einstein, she strategized and implemented plans with the city council to increase access and delivery of healthcare services in Sao Paulo, and coordinated 4 medical facilities providing 480,000 medical consults/year. Elaine is also a board-certified plastic surgeon in Brazil, where she practiced at Skin Health Institute, a traditional multispecialty clinic of which she became manager and partner. In addition, Elaine obtained a Ph.D. in plastic surgery, after performing extensive research in transplantation at the University of Pittsburgh and publishing 23 articles in books and peer-reviewed journals. Elaine received her medical degree and Ph.D. from Federal University of Sao Paulo, where she also completed her residency in plastic surgery.
