President
Jenni Dugan is a full-time MBA candidate at UCLA Anderson pursuing a career in Marketing and Strategy. Prior to Anderson, Jenni worked in the pharmaceutical industry, managing clinical development for Amgen, Allergan and Pfizer. This summer, she worked at ZS Associates, a management consulting firm in Century City specializing in healthcare marketing and sales. Jenni grew up in Irvine, CA and majored in Biology and Business Administration at the University of Southern California. She also spends time volunteering at hospitals and playing beach volleyball.

VP of Finance
Vivian Yang is a full-time MBA student at UCLA Anderson School of Management. Prior to Anderson, Vivian worked in Deloitte Consulting for 2 years. As a consultant at Deloitte, she served clients across multiple industries and geographic locations, assisting them to manage their financial and operational risks. Her current focus at UCLA Anderson is Finance and Strategy. This summer, Vivian worked at Delta as a Corporate Finance intern. She helped build up the framework of fixed asset management and analyze the financing of solar energy projects. Vivian grew up in Taiwan and obtained her BA in Finance from National Taiwan University. Her hobbies are baking, traveling and fashion.

Mike Kaufman is a full-time MBA student at UCLA Anderson School of Management and is responsible for ensuring that Anderson students have every opportunity to pursue a career in the healthcare industry. Mike's primary responsibility is the execution of the HBA Career Night, an event when numerous healthcare firms are brought to campus with the purpose of networking and recruiting Anderson students. Prior to enrolling at UCLA Anderson, Mike worked as an analyst for a niche pharmaceutical consulting firm that specialized in providing market intelligence on the contract manufacturing industry. For his summer internship, Mike worked in the corporate strategy group at Mattel. His projects included conducting due diligence on a potential acquisition target and analyzing corporate resource allocation. Mike holds a B.S. degree in Physics from Davidson College.

Timothy Gnaneswaran is pursuing an MBA at the UCLA Anderson School of Management with an emphasis on Strategy and Marketing. Prior to UCLA Anderson, Tim spent five years as a Product Development Engineer at Intel Corporation. Tim interned this past summer at Abbott Diabetes Care in the Brand Strategy team, developing strategic partnerships and alliances. Tim grew up in Portland, Oregan and holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington.

VP of Relationship Management (Internal/External)
Claire Pomeroy is a full-time MBA candidate at UCLA Anderson pursuing a career in Marketing. Prior to Anderson, Claire worked as a Clinical Project Manager at Genomic Health, a molecular diagnostics company committed to improving the quality of cancer treatment decisions. In this role, Claire managed cross-functional teams to design, execute, analyze, and present results of Phase I-IV clinical studies for development and commercialization of genomic-based RT-PCR diagnostic assays. This past summer, Claire worked in clinical and product marketing at Intuitive Surgical, the global leader in the rapidly emerging field of robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery. Specifically, she developed a strategy and an action plan to engage a previously unaddressed physician market and justified a proposal for the design and content of an online customer portal for the da Vinci Skills Simulator. Claire grew up in Northern California (Los Altos, CA) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Haverford College. As the VP of Relationship Management, Claire liaises with Anderson healthcare alums and partners with other Anderson professional clubs. In addition to being on the HBA board, Claire is active in Challenge for Charity and enjoys organizing fundraising and volunteering activities.

VP of Marketing and Communications
Martha Whitmore is pursuing a dual MBA/MPH degree with the UCLA Anderson School of Management and School of Public Health. Martha has two years of experience working in community development and project management. As a Peace Corps Volunteer in Peru, she implemented health and nutrition programs, improved water treatment facility in the southern department of Arequipa and was integral in constructing a community library. This summer, she worked in Los Angeles and Cape Town as a UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Teaching Associate. She served as a strategic consultant to executive directors and managers of community-based healthcare and Head Start organizations attending intensive management development programs. Martha holds a B.S. in Psychology from Santa Clara University. In addition to serving the Healthcare Business Association, Martha serves a Communications Teaching Assistant, and Vice President of Special Events for the UCLA chapter of MBA Challenge for Charity.

Ojas Shah is a full-time MBA candidate at UCLA Anderson School of Management pursuing a career in Marketing and Strategy. Prior to Anderson, Ojas worked as a Product Manager for four years in a leading semiconductor company where he led cross-functional teams through the entire product development cycle. This summer, Ojas interned at Boston Scientific, a global fortune 500 medical device company, in the Neuromodulation Division as a Marketing/Business Strategy Associate. In this role, Ojas was responsible for developing a go-to-market strategy for the launch of the next-generation microelectronic implantable device used for treating chronic neuropathic pain. He conducted extensive market research to understand the implications of the healthcare reform on the current business, identifying influencers affecting hospital and surgical center purchasing decisions. Ojas holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University. In his free time, Ojas enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and running.

Shravya is currently pursuing a dual MBA/MPH degree in Anderson School of Management and the School of Public Health. Prior to Anderson, Prior to Anderson, she worked for 3 years in the Strategy & Operations division at Deloitte Consulting. Her work largely included conducting business process redesign activities for healthcare payors and biotechnology companies, although she also has experience in sourcing and procurement and long term strategic planning. During her time at Anderson, Shravya has had two sets of internships. The first one included working with the Johnson & Johnson Head Start and Health Care Executive Program in Los Angeles, Cape Town, and Accra. She also consulted with UCLA Medical Center Radiation Oncology department on improving clinic flow and utilization. For her second internship, she worked with the World Health Organization in Geneva on developing multi-sectoral collaborations for pandemic preparedness. Shravya grew up in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.

Thomas Butler is a Fully Employed MBA student at UCLA Anderson focusing on Entrepreneurship. He is currently working at Gilead Sciences as a member of the R&D team in the Medicinal Chemistry department. His current research is aimed at developing new therapeutic agents against chronic hepatitis C (HCV). Thomas holds a MS in organometallic/organic-synthetic chemistry under the tutelage of Dr. Lipshutz at UCSB and is a member of the American Chemical Society. Thomas, a California native, grew up in a small town called Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Brian Yeh is a fully-employed MBA (FEMBA) student at UCLA Anderson School of Management and is responsible for helping students from the full-time and FEMBA programs network with each other over healthcare topics/events. He also recruits panelists and sets up industry tours from the FEMBA ranks or through their connections. For his degree, Brian is currently concentrating in technology management and entrepreneurship. He has been working for the past 5 years at Medtronic in medical device field sales (B2B and B2C) in the greater Los Angeles area. Specifically, he works with Cardiologists in the OR to implant pacemakers and defibrillators in patients. He is also responsible for in-office clinical support to physicians and assists them in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, he has also taken on responsibilities in education and clinical research (both post-market and IDE) the latter of which he has been published for. For his undergraduate degree, Brian did a double-major in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering at Duke University. In his spare time, he enjoys staying active by playing tennis and golf and by swimming and surfing. He is also an avid wine collector (and drinker) and makes yearly pilgrimages to Napa Valley.
