A “teach-in” luncheon for interested students and faculty of the business school. Healthcare 101 addresses the basics of the industry – payer/provider system, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, etc. Healthcare 102 investigates in greater depth current topics in the healthcare industry. Lectures are presented by students with previous medical/consulting/industry work.

This event is an early opportunity for interested students to learn more about the functional options available within the healthcare industry. A panel of recent MBA graduates will discuss their current position and career development path. This event allows sponsors to raise awareness of the diverse career options that exist within their organizations and the healthcare industry in general.
HBA Career Night

The HBA Career Night is one of the biggest career events at Anderson. Key sponsors from leading healthcare companies have the opportunity to interact with Anderson students interested in job functions such as marketing, corporate finance, business development, etc. Each firm hosts a table with one to three representatives. This event features first-year UCLA Anderson students, who will rotate among tables to network with the sponsoring firms, learning about the firms, industry trends, and potential career opportunities. Last year, over 75 students attended this event.
